Based on the true event, a Stanford prison experiment that took part in 1971 and was criticized years after that, and on the novel written by Mario Giordano, "The Black Box", in 2001 came out the German movie called "Das Experiment". In 2010 the Americans did the remake and made the movie for their market and their audience. The plot is focused on the behavioural experiment, which purpose is to see how people behave in prison-like situations. There is a group of 26 men that applied for this experiment and they were divided in two groups- guards and prisoners, based on their psychological evaluation. The goal is to see if they can hold on for two weeks inside of the constructed prison without a violence breakout. The only condition is to keep it as peaceful as possible, If it comes to a breakout, there are cameras all around which are recording them, so the scientists could end the experiment in time. This drama thriller is adapted and directed by Paul Scheuring. With high quality actors like Adrien Brody, Forest Whitaker, Cam Gigandet, and Maggie Grace, this movie is one of those you wouldn't want to miss for anything in the world. Seeing Adrien Brody going from the character like The Pianist all over to the character like Travis here is an amazing Oscar worthy transformation.
