Meet the Burnetts. They are one happy family.. that is, when they aren't dysfunctional, which is always. Jack and Bunnie, the parents, aren't on good terms. Since they are married for a long time, they grew apart and their lives go on parallel without any interruption. Jack (Dermot Mulroney) sometimes has fantasies about one cute secretary from work, Alicia Bouche. Bunnie (Hope Davis), on the other hand, is having an affair with their neighbour Simon (Chi McBride). Kelly (Britt Robertson) is their daughter and she is snappy on the words. She doesn't mind the foul language or cursing and enjoys in provoking guys in her class with a bit see through blouse. And there is also Eric (Max Thieriot), their son, who is an excellent shooter. He is totally in military life style, which doesn't actually make dad proud. At one point, gets her head injured and wakes up in a hospital with diagnosed amnesia. So, she can't remember anything after the first couple of days after their wedding. She and Jack try to relive their early marriage days, which starts working after a long period of crappy marriage. And this family is happy again, but the question is, for how long? All the situations they find themselves in as well as the reactions makes this comedy even funnier, which will make viewers laugh throughout the whole movie.
