What is the movie The Hagstone Demon about?
The story revolves around an alcoholic writer and caretaker, named Douglas Elmore, who is followed by the visions implying his wife, who passed away some time ago. The supernatural forces are pursuing him in their desire to take vengeance on him for the deeds he committed in past. Very soon the residents of his apartment building start appearing dead in the hallways and on the stairs, and Douglas starts suspecting Karna, a strange, but sexually alluring prostitute with no home, who sleeps in his basement during the day and is in the city during the night time. As the dead bodies roll up, Douglas is followed by a dilemma between his nearly ill obsession with Karna and the fear of becoming the main suspect in investigations of the murders taking place inside his building. So, he must find the roots of the evil haunting the old Hagstone before the mystery of his past is uncovered to destroy him.
