This movie would be very well met by those people who are thrilled with all the movies about the “Lord of the rings” , and those people who are the fans of Tolkien, though i am one of those people who didn’t like this movie at all. I didn’t even have an idea that it will be connected with Lord of the rings in a way or another, and i didn’t quite understood whether it was a prehistory to the movie or the continuous part of it. And my boyfriend said that this movie isn't showing anything new, and that its subject line is completely same, in general i can say that he liked it not more than i did. In general my opinion is same, the movie is very boring no matter the fact that the actors in it have performed very well and there were a few not bad jokes at all, but standing it for two hours and a half was too much for both of us, we thought with the desire to fall asleep as much as we could, but it was stronger than us. So as a conclusion ,it is quite good for its genre, that is why i recommend it to people who enjoy the fantasy genre.

I knew this book by heart practically since my childhood, when i was opening it, i could forget everything that was on my mind. I didn’t hear anything and i never saw anything around, that is why i was very anxious to see this movie. So as soon as i heard it was released i dropped all the things i was doing and went to the premiere. And as a result i could not wait till the end of the movie, as i was bored, and my popcorn has finished, i even tried to fall asleep, but was not that lucky about it either. Of course it was made in Peter Jackson’s style, everything looked great, pretty, but there was no dynamics in the dialogues, that is why i got so disappointed by it. And i think that people who didn’t read the book will not understand some moments in the movie. Of course you can see it in order to narrow your vision, but there is no desire to watch this movie again afterwards. Though, maybe after watching it again i will discover some new things that will make me like this movie. The only thing i felt great about was the hobbit, he was exactly the way i imagined him.

Well i will start by saying that i read the book right in a few weeks before the movie was released, that is why i was ready to the show, by the time i walk into the cinema. It was shown in 3D, so eventually it looked even better than i was expecting it to be. The special effects were just awesome. I didn’t really like the makeup of the actors, because it was made more in order to show off, than to characterize the character. It was more than enough for me to watch this movie in a good quality. My second disappointment was the fact that it was based on the book in very general details, some things were taken off, and some were added. I think there were more battles than in the book, and the most important thing that one book was divided into three parts! So i cannot imagine myself how will i be able to stand till the third part, because i already am very impatient. And of course, it was filmed in correlation with all the best traditions of the “Lord of the rings”. This fact cannot leave me with no emotions.

Charming, spectacular, technically audacious… in short, everything you expect from a Peter Jackson movie. A feeling of familiarity does take hold in places, but this is an epically entertaining first course.

EPIC adventure. Outstanding visuals. Great actors. Nice 3D effects. Solid length. An AAA-class movie. No more, no less. I enjoyed every minute of the movie. Waiting for the next part!!!

I went to this movie thinking that I would be bored half way through. I really liked the first three but I thought it would just be more of the same. But to my surprise I ended up thoroughly entertained. Peter Jackson was able to take what made the first three so awesome and greatly improve upon that formula. Not only that I thought the actors in this movie did a much better job especially the actor who played bilbo baggins. I can't wait to see the other two coming out I am more excited about their release than I was the original trilogy.
