What is the movie The Ides of March about?
This time we get to peak behind the curtain and get to see how the world of politics and elections actually works. Stephen, who is played by Ryan Gosling, is one of the best campaign consultant and he is working for Governor Mike Morris, who is portrayed by George Clooney. And throughout the movie we get to see him doing one successful thing after another and really making it happen for the new president, because he believes this man is the only one that can change anything in the society. Along the way he gets to meet beautiful Molly, played by Evan Rachel Wood, who happens to be the daughter of the present head of the National Democratic Party. And as it seems like it's all going well and smooth, Stephen finds out that there is more than meets the eye when it comes to his idol, Mike Morris. As it al unravels, we get to see Stephen fighting his inner daemons and questioning his every belief while changing sides during the final circle of the campaign. With the script written by Grant Heslov and George Clooney and the acting crew that consists of Ryan Gosling, George Clooney, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Paul Giamatti and others, this is the movie that will knock you off of your feet.
