I have no words to describe this movie! It is definitely a masterpiece! This movie has amazed me till the deepest bottom of my soul! The kid is probably the best movie about love of a parent towards his child from all the movies that i have ever seen! And it doesn’t matter the fact that this is not his real parent! Even the fact that it is some sort of vagabonde doesn’t matter. Still it is a parent! “The kid” is the movie that looks for the answer on one of the world’s most important questions, such as how important are the tears of a little baby? And whether we can do something against the will of little children! Of course each person already knows the answer on this question, and each of those answers is different, same as opinions of the people! This movie deserves all the possible highest rates, at least due to the fact that even with no words in it, with black and white picture it makes you watch it and holding your breath during that, as you are afraid to miss something.

It is simply a wonderful movie! I was surprised and shocked as i never saw anything like that before in my life! I think it is a necessity for everyone to watch this movie, it is older than ninety years old! And how many film twists were used during it creation, i am sure that those were the times when they were only invented, but are used till the day of today! And the performance of the little boy was a great one! I think not every adult actor with a great experience would be able to perform that good as he did! I am simply thrilled by this movie! It is the first mute movie that i have ever seen in my life! And i didn’t expected anything special from it. But.. This movie has captured me since the first minute, and till the last second of it, i was not able to take myself from the screen. The movie is so emotional that i didn’t had words to describe it! In this movie not the actors were speaking but their emotions! “The kid” id the movie that makes you laugh and cry at the same time! And the humor in it is special!

This movie is a classic black and white comedy with the genius Charlie Chaplin. It is the story of a vagabonde who was raising a child. The movie is very simple, light, naive and has a lot of soul in it. At the same time it is really funny. So despite the fact that the movie is black and white and it is mute (there is music and some titles) it is very capturing and makes you worry for the heroes not less than any other modern movie with with special effects and interesting twists. The poor guy has been shown in a very funny way as well, the blanket that he had was a multifunctional one, and the food he could ever be able to get was always shared between them on equal shares. But the favorite scene for me was the dream of the vagabonde in which he is in heaven, where he sees a dog with wings, and where everything was nice and so simple. I think parents should show this movie to their children as it will be interesting and it will bring them a very good subject to think upon.

It's hard not to like The Kid, with its old-fashioned yet endearing combination of pathos and humor.
