From Canada comes nice and worth of watching horror movie The Last Will and Testament of Rosalind Leigh. If you liked movie Sinister, The Last Will and Testament of Rosalind Leigh will not disappoint you. It is little bit less scary then Sinister. The strongest card in the movie is the atmosphere. Sets used for filming are perfectly done and only the house gives creeps to audience. We are left constantly to guess what is going to happen. Great part of atmosphere is very well done through audio. Rodrigo used biggest fear as driving force for his thrilling mystery. Fear of mortality made some people do bizarre and strange things. Those that don’t accept it are willing to do unimaginable things to avoid death. That made problem for Leon Leigh (Aaron Pole). Leon is antique dealer. Story starts with him inheriting house where his passed away mother lived. House doesn’t look regular. It full with religious artefacts. Actually house appears to be odd shrine devoted to mysterious and oppressive cult. His mother passed away not long time ago. Is ghost of his mother trying to contact him through creepy objects? Is house itself haunted by demons and unnatural beings? With low budget, movie had to be made mostly in the house. House could be also understood as a character. She could be a symbol of human efforts to defeat the death. It is up to audience to decide in what they believe in.
