One of the outstanding marks of this movie fascination is that it can be interpreted in many different ways. The film is essentially a thriller, but at the same time it is also a story that questions the nature of human love, of our place in the universe, and to whatever God might be worshiped. It features some outstanding acting each of the actors defines a character with both strengths and flaws.

Hmm, while writing my point of view about this movie i was listening the soundtrack to the movie, which is a melody by David Holmes. And i had the feeling that my fingers are not running on the keyboard, but on the piano. This movie is a bit not understandable for me in some details, and in some moments it was too sad and pessimist, but the good thing is that it has some morality in it. You cannot be with a person just because you are grateful to. Sheina lives with her husband because he saved her, but after salvation his beliefs, religion and habits are killing the girl again. So when she meets Gavin her life changes completely and she sees some moments of happiness again, maybe they are small, but they do exist. She suffers because she is lying to her husband, but she needs love. And she wants to be loved, but for all the good moments in life, that are wrong sooner or later you have to pay for.It is not the best movie i have ever seen in my life, but i certainly enjoyed it.

I liked the movie very much, some people would say that it is stretched very much, and i would not say they are wrong. Simply the movie producer gave the ability to feel and think about the ideas that are placed on the screen. Actors performed very well, i would even say perfect. Of course i remembered Heath Ledger who played same role many years ago, his performance was of course much better. Liv Tyler has stopped being the princess of elfs and became a woman with huge ass and rids on her face, i could not not pay attention on it, but at the same time she is wonderful and no one could perform this role better than her. Maybe in a different way, but not better. I guess the main message of this movie that is being delivered to people is that you cannot justify cheating, but it asks not to be blind and to see further than stereotypes.

“The Ledge” represents a beginning of a whole new genre that stands out and much above from the cliché movie world. It explores nuances of life, ethics, love and religion that cannot be easily classified. Though this movie positions itself as a thriller, it is much more than that. After watching it you will be thinking about it days and even months, yes, so thought-provoking it is. The movie has very powerful world views can influence behavior and decisions. For me the most compelling was the policeman and his life dilemma. The last scene I found a bit weak and consequently detraction from the overall effect. I definitely have a great impact after watching this film and would recommend anyone who enjoys this genre.

My mother often asks me the question how am i choosing movies in order to watch, and my answer is simple, i do it according to the reviews that i read or friend’s recommendation. I hate the feeling when i watch the movie for an hour and a half and realize that i simply stole this time from my life. And from the other side i love the feeling that my life will never be the same after watching a movie, as it completely changed me, and now i know a story, a story of strangers that became close to my heart. “The ledge” is exactly this kind of movie, after i watched it, i felt like i was cut in two pieces and it was a very emotional moment.I felt a row of feelings, such as: sorry, admiration, desire and many others. After the titles i could not even make myself going up and switching off the CD. I enjoyed this movie a lot as it made me feel and think, and of course it made me think upon the main question, my faith in God.
