How to Treat a Celebrity You're Dating

What is the movie The Mask about?
We all get a bit freaky sometimes, but what happens to Stanley Ipkiss (Jim Carrey) is something totally different. For the most of the time he is just another bank cleric who is really nice and easy-going guy. But, since he is devoted to his work, his social life is non-existing. After he discovers a strange wooden mask, his life is about to change totally. Whenever he puts on that mask, he becomes a freaky character who is capable of everything, as well as those things Stanley himself could never do. With this mask giving him power to do everything he wanted to, as well as some other powers, he can finally have fun. So, this mask gets him into both trouble and pushes him a bit more into the direction of being a dominant guy without backing off. There are scenes that show the cartoon characteristics of this mask, such as the scene where he robs the bank and gets caught on camera, but the cops can't believe what they see. Throughout the movie we see Stanley/ Mask fall in love with another guy's woman, Tina Carlyle (Cameron Diaz). After an amazing dance scene in the local club that is for members only, Mask manages to get in and impress Tina in front of her boyfriend. After that night, Stanley gets both desire to live, love as well as the desire to disappear because of the guys who are looking for him.
