After years of service CIA black ops guy gets burned out. After failing at psychological exam he gets a relaxing assignment. He has been sent to the Number Station to protect the facility and the code operator until he gets better. John Cusack acts CIA agent Emerson Kent. Pretty natural blonde hottie from Sweden Malin Akerman got the second leading role. In this movie she is the code operator. Katherine (Malin Akerman) as a code operator sends important messages to CIA agents all over the world. Station where she works is not on the maps and it is vital for safety of the agency and the agents. After the ambush in front of the facility Emerson and Katherine are forced to fight for survival. They also have to win the other battle and prevent bad guys in their deadly mission. What could trained professional do if he had chance to send directions to black ops agents instead of the coder? Performance that John Cusack and Malin Akerman gave is god enough and they had some funny lines while working as a tandem. Movie is a nice thriller with big amount of action. “The Number Station” manages to keep attention of the audience despite there are no car chases, and all the action is happening in the facility.
