What is the movie The Nutty Professor about?
Here comes one of the legendary comedies of all the time- The Nutty Professor. As the title itself says, the main character in this film is Prof. Sherman Klump (Eddie Murphy), one pretty silly, clumsy and lovable overweight guy. He is working on a college and is also one of the best scientists in the field of researching DNA construction as well as manipulating with it. As he gets to know one of the younger professors, the new member of the staff, Carla (Jada Pinkett Smith), he is more than determined to lose some weight. So, after spending days and days trying to lose his weight the regular way, by eating healthy, doing some exercises and other stuff, and doesn't get the results, he turns to his speciality- science. One night, he manages to use the new found formula that helped his hamster, and adapt it to his DNA, making him slimmer than ever. But, what he didn't count on is that he will be changing his main features as well. So from loving guy like Sherman Klump he becomes irritating Buddy Love, who gets on everybody's nerves. And he will stay Buddy Love as long as he drinks the formula. The next problem is, his wish to get slimmer is so great that he will put everything he is in danger because of that.
