Cindy (Jennifer Garner) and Jim Green (Joel Edgerton) live in a small town – Stanleyville, they are happily married and have everything they have been dreaming of, but the child. Unable to conceive, they have recourse to a strange ritual of burying a box with their wishes for a baby on their backyard, with the only desire to start a complete family life, they’ve been dreaming of since they married. One stormy night a young man, named Timothy (CJ Adams) shows up at their threshold and Jim and Cindy realize that sometimes life can bring the greatest surprises. However, Timothy Green is not really all that he seems to be.
