There is nothing better to laugh at than a sudden proposal. No one actually knows how to react and those reactions are the best to watch. Movie The Proposal, as the title itself says, deals with one of those situations. To get even better laugh, this proposal comes from the boss to her employee. It all starts with Andrew Paxton (Ryan Reynolds) who is working in editor company. He has a pretty hardcore boss and she is really workaholic. Her name is Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock). The best part is, she is from Canada. Why is that the best part you might ask? Because that is where the whole fuss begins. As she gets informed that her visa has been denied and she is Canadian, she is on the verge of being deported. And if she is to be deported, she can't work for an American company any more. As her slave office worker Andrew is always bugged by her, she uses his position to get him to marry her. It is only to be a formal thing, only so she could get the citizenship. As the weekend comes closer, and Andrew is going to Alaska to celebrate his grandma's 90th birthday, she tags along because of the very suspicious INS worker who is keeping their eyes on them.
