We live in a cruel world filled with prejudice and inequity. It’s painful to admit, but not all the people are perceived in one and the same way. Sometime stereotypes and labels take over our common sense and we judge people without knowing anything about them. The two Afro-American sociologists want to prove their theory that black people are perceived as criminals by default. They want to show everybody that there’s racial discrimination when it comes to applying laws in a small suburban town. In order to prove their theory they take a truly desperate step – they stage bank robbery. Everything looks like an actual robbery, expect for the fact that they don’t intent on taking the money. They manage to hide the money before police arrests them. During the interrogations they manage to prove their theory, because the police look at both of them with prejudice because they are Afro-Americans. They proved their point, but now they have another problem – they can’t make the police believe that it was only an experiment.
