The To Do List is an old story with different details and a lot of funny quotes. Main protagonist in this movie is Aubrey Plaza acting Brandy Klark. Brandy finished high school like a virgin, but in modern American society that is not something to proud of. She fills huge pressure to become sexually experienced. This story is directed and written by Maggie Carey. Maggie made this movie with mostly young population in mind. Parents are probably not going to watch The To Do List, at least not with under aged children. Brandy Klark becomes determined to master the art of sex. She starts by doing "homework". While she is doing theory, her own conclusions are making some sophisticated jokes. Lost in crowd of superficial students Brandy has hard time to find adequate boy for losing virginity. As it is in every fairytale, she finds one and from that point on, this comedy is filled with different sorts of humor. Action is placed on the open pool so there is lot skin to see. Aubrey Plaza is 28 year old, still she was convincing 18 year old virgin teen. Transformations from ashamed Brandy to furious person are quick, which makes story funny and keeps dynamics at constant level. This "teen girl rushing to have sex" comedy is somewhere in between "American Pie" and "The 40-Year-Old Virgin". The To Do List is written and directed by women and because of that we can see things from different perspective.
