The plot of the movie is not the most original one, and the main thing is how to bring it n a correct way. What dialogues should be set and what events are supposed to be underlined. I liked the intrigue in the movie, that was keeping me tensed till the last minute of the movie. And each time i was thinking i got the truth a new twist of the subject was happening. There is no action in the movie at all, as well as there are no bright scenes or memorable moments. No matter all those things the movie have been done in a decent way. Maybe that is the merit of the performing crew but it is not that much important as the final result. The characters who i remember most of all, become the heroes performed by Gabriel Byrne and Kevin Spacey, Kevin surprises me more and more each time i see him in a new movie. I think this movie is one of the best movies i have ever seen in my life! It reveals many important issues that are so simple that we don’t really notice them, but the truth is that we should pay attention to them! As life is built from a variety of little things.

When i decided to watch this movie i was expecting to see something really thrilling, as this is the kind of movie i was looking for! And that is the movie i was supposed to get, according to the description of the movie,and how pleasant for me it was to realize the fact that i haven’t done any mistakes by making this choice, and the thought that this movie is really something that deserves being seen, was apparent since the moment when i started watching the movie! And there were three reasons to think like that! : first of all the performance of the actors was at the highest possible level, and Kevin Spacey was simply perfect! The intrigue, it made me curious to see what will happen next! And of of course the fact that this movie has a style of his own, i am very grateful to the movie director for it! He is completely answering and meeting all the requirements of the genre, but does it in his own way, a brand new one! So my conclusion about the movie, yes, it definitely deserves being seen, and all the time spent on it!

Part caper film, part character goof off (ala Ocean's Eleven), part ghost story, I simply enjoy watching this again and again. The cast makes the rest of the cast look good.

I didn't believe this story for a minute, even in movie terms -- though it's less offensive than a piece of junk like Apt Pupil, Singer's subsequent feature.
