From the British director Nigel Cole, who brought us Calender Girls, here comes another comic movie that will win your hearts- The Wedding Video. Like any other British comedy, this one is also filled with their kind of humour. At the beginning, we get to meet Raif, who is the grooms brother, and he gets a brilliant idea to record the whole wedding and the preparation for it as well as their wedding gift. His brother Tim is marrying an upper class girl Saskia. But, as the plans go on, it seems like they are least important and that everyone else is trying to live their dreams throughout their wedding. Saskia's mother and grandmother are constantly interfering with the wedding plans, making additional and different arrangements. In all that mess comes the wedding planner, Jenna, who is everything but normal. As the drama goes on, Saskia and Tim start arguing more and more, which brings Raif, as his brother, even closer to each of them, which further ends up in Raif falling in love with Saskia. On the grand day of the wedding, Tim finds himself having lots of doubts, Saskia is unhappy and she and Raif are in love. That leaves lots of guests in the church, with both bride and groom not showing up. As tragic as this looks, the way in which these situations are happening is actually hilarious.
