Can you imagine how hard it is to be a single mother? How much effort a woman needs to make in order to get by, to provide for her family, to raise her children decently? Do you know how devastating lack of men’s support can be? What about the children? Don’t you think it’s hard for them to live without a father, to watch their mother struggle desperately for a living? Angela is a single mother and the only thing she cares about is wellbeing of her lovely daughter Sunny. She is willing to do anything in order to raise her child decently. Las Vegas is a harsh city to live in if you are not wealthy, and Angela knows this for sure. She has to work on several jobs in order to get by. But even in such circumstances she allows her daughter to have a birthday party saying that it’s only once in a year and they can afford it (though they actually can’t). It seems like Angela has to give up a lot in order to keep her head above the water and take care of her daughter. But she is willing to make that sacrifice for her child.
