What is the movie Transformers 3 about?
“Transformers 3” is the last part of “Transformers” trilogy. Real events – the first landing on the Moon on the 20th of July, 1969 – lie at the basis of the plot outset of the third movie. Alien robots-Autobots are involved in the ‘space race’ between the USA and the USSR. After they were defeated by the Decepticons, they leave their native planet, Cybertron, with Sentinel Prime at their head. The Autobots’ spaceship breaks on the dark side of the Moon. Having learned this, President of the USA, John F. Kennedy instructs American astronauts to get to the dark side of the Moon for an investigation. On a secret mission American astronauts from Apollo 11 Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin take several minutes of radio silence to investigate the spaceship and find the bodies of the robots onboard.
Present days… Sad life has started of the main characters: Sam has lost Mikaela; the U.S. Government issues a legislative act about deportation of Autobots from the Earth; and while Megatron hides after Follen’s shameful defeat, Decepticon Shockwave, the Cybertron sovereign, gets ready to visit our planet with by far not kind plans. The action of the film comprises not only the Earth, but the Moon as well, the dark side of which keeps not less dark secrets.
