If you wondered if we are the only life form in the universe here is a theory that could provide with some ideas as answers. One of them is that there is another life form and that it may be in the form of highly developed robots. The story for the plot was written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and John Rogers. It was later adapted as a screenplay and directed by Michael Bay. The movie starts with a young teenage boy Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf), who is showing his late grandfather's findings in the "show and tell" class at his school. He also uses the chance to tell everyone about the stuff he sells on the eBay. After school, his father takes him to buy his first car and as he gets drawn to a yellow convertible, it seems like the car has already chosen him. And soon, strange things start happening. His new car start the engine by itself and manage to take off, and while he is struggling to realize what is going on, the audience gets to see that Earth is in the middle of the ancient war of two robotic species, Autobots and Decepticons from another planet called Cybertron. They are fighting for a mystical element, which is somewhere on the Earth, and the weirdest part is, the location is actually imprinted on Sam grandfather's glasses. So, from the perspective of Decepticons, Sam is the one they have to get to. But, he is protected by an Autobot called Bumblebee, his car.
