Watching the legendary heroes from the ancient Greece is always interesting. They were more than brave, skilful and smart, they also had the help of the Gods on their side. And everything they did, they did with the full respect for Gods of the Olympus. So, in return, Gods often gave them strength, magical powers, some extraordinary abilities and such. The year in which this movie is placed is 1250 B.C. It is the Bronze age. The greatest war of all the time begins with love. After Paris (Orlando Bloom), the prince of Troia, falls in love with Spartan Queen, Helen (Diane Kruger), two of them are involved in an affair. At one point, he convinces her to come back to Troia with him and leave her current husband, Menelaus (Brendan Gleeson). After Menelaus finds out what happened and that his wife was taken by Troians, he calls his brother Agamemnon for help to get her, who on the other hand, sees that as an opportunity to get his hands on their lands and their army. There is where Achilles (Brad Pitt) comes into the whole story. He is their best fighter, undefeated, and is to fight the battle for the whole Greek nation. He now must fight also until now undefeated Troians, which are causing fear everywhere they go.
