We all know that British men have a unique sense of humour. But, that's not all they have. They also know how to make a real life events into best dramas ever. With the knowledge and creativity, Paddy Considine wrote and directed the début movie called Tyrannosaur. It tells the story about a pretty lonely and angry old man Joseph (Peter Mullan). His whole day is filled with drinking and gambling. Local pub and the local bookmakers are the places he visits, along with his friends. With lots of violence and lots of outbursts he takes the path of a lonesome man, who acts rather than talking. After he ends up on the pavement one night, beaten up and all bloody, he gets found by the Christian woman Hannah (Olivia Colman), who is from the neighbourhood. She seems nice and works as a charity shop worker. At first he pushes her away from himself, because that's what he knows how to do the best. But, as the time goes by, they form a friendly bond, that allows Joseph to reveal her problems at house. Besides job, she has a really jealous husband, who beats her all the time and is constantly violent towards her, both physically and verbally. Can Joseph turn his back on her in the time of need? Or will he let her in his life?
