What is the movie Unconditional about?
Unconditional is a movie that is based on true events. The story behind the screen was about the life and work of "Papa Joe" Bradford, who was once a convict, but after getting out of the prison started a program for the kids who were on the wrong path and for who was obvious that they'll end up in jail one day. The plot of this movie is based on that story. At the beginning we meet young redhead girl Samantha and her friend Joe. They became best friends from the day one. As they grew up, their lives went separate ways and they grew apart. After Samantha's husband was killed, she was desperate and thought of committing suicide in the back of the alley where he was murdered. At that very moment, two kids ran out of the store and got hit by a car. She decided to help them and took them to the hospital. There she met her friend from childhood. They reconnected again and started helping each other out. She found out that he started a program for troublesome kids and joined in. As the story goes on, we see that he has a problem with kidney functioning and that he needs an operation, because his body is refusing the dialyse. All in all, this is one pretty Christian-oriented story that is easy to watch, and that was both written and directed by Brent McCorkle. With help of great actors like Lynn Collins and Michael Ealy, who are in main roles, this movie was a success.
