Lissa and Rose Hathaway are mentally bonded. Apart from protecting Moroi, Rose is also trained to kill Strigoi, evil vampires who drink blood to kill people. Lissa, on the other hand, apart from being a princess, has an ability, as a true Moroi, to control one of the four elements- fire, air, water or earth. What are these girls going through and what kind of adventures they are having, you can watch during a 104 min movie directed by Mark Waters. Daniel Waters did a great job with a screenplay he wrote, based on a novel written by Richelle Mead. The "Vampire Academy" novel was one of the best selling in 2007, so it is no wonder it has inspired a group of people to make an exciting action- fantasy movie. Zoey Dutch was playing protective Rose Hathaway who eventually fell in love with Dimitri Belikov played by Danila Kozlowsky, Lucy Fry was Lissa Dragomir who wanted became a queen, and all that was wrapped up in a slightly humorous fantasy with a dash of a mystery and horror. There are some hard decisions, devotion and true friendship as well...
