When the novel of Lionel Shriver became famous and very wanted, they had decided to adapt it and turn it into a movie. Crew who was responsible for the adaptation consists of Rory Kinnear and Lynne Ramsay and it was directed by Lynne Ramsay. The main role in this drama plays Tilda Swinton, a character named Eva. She is married and has a young son called Kevin. As he grows up you can clearly see that she isn't as the other mothers. She looks like she actually didn't want to have baby. From the day one, Kevin seems to be sensing her hostile behaviour towards him and the lacking of her parenting skills as well. With him growing up it is more than obvious that he has the intelligence above the average and is determined to make her pay. He turns into a real psychopath and is capable of deceiving his dad really good about everything he does and how he behaves. And for Eva, the life with her son seems like being already in Hell. This drama with thriller elements is pretty engaging and captivating, the viewers won't have the problem with following the storyline. With a little above two hours in duration, this movie is considering really serious questions.
