What is the movie When Harry Met Sally... about?
All great loves are tragic in the beginning. That is what makes them so great. Harry (Billy Crystal) and Sally (Meg Ryan) are one of those couples that have known each other forever. They first met as they were both head out to New York. They both graduated in Chicago and are eager to spend their lives the way they planned to. Throughout the movie we get to see them grow up, seek loves of their lives, bump into each other occasionally, then going back to their lives on separate tracks. Over the course of years their friendship starts getting more serious and at one point, there is attraction between them. None of them is willing to admit it and they are constantly rejecting each other in that aspect. As they spend the night together, their friendship becomes more than complicated and they have no idea what to do. And as they try to find a way to either be friends again or be with each other in a relationship, throughout the entire move there is only one question that is constantly left unanswered: Can a man and a woman be friends, without sex getting in the way? With a lesson learned in the end of the movie, we get to see the brilliant work of those who created the whole idea- writer Nora Ephron and director Rob Reiner.
