What is the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit about?
It is hard to imagine real life characters get all mixed up with cartoon and animated characters in one same movie. Yet, this one does that with a success. The story starts off with getting to know Roger Rabbit, a cartoon star, who is actually not such a good actor. Since they all know in Toontown who his wife is, ravishing and jaw dropping Jessica Rabbit, they are all stunned with her. At one point, Roger starts suspecting that his wife is playing pattycake with someone else, so the company hires a human detective Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins) to investigate the case. Since he has some past with the Toontown, he is not an easy man to track down, and it's even harder to get him there. While investigating the whole "cheating" case, Eddie gets involved in another one. Marvin Acme, the owner dies and there is no will left, which makes the Toontown in danger, because anyone can take over. The worst part is, that Roger is the prime suspect. With Eddie left pretty suspicious about rabbit killing the owner, he is more than interested to discover the truth about who framed him and why. It turns out that this case has more to tell than he was expecting to.
