Without a father is a movie that comes from LeRoy McDonald, who was both writer and the director. It focuses on lives of two totally different boys, Joshua Taylor and Christopher Bauman, who both are left without their fathers. After Joshua's dad suddenly dies, two of the boys get connected and Lucille Bauman, Joshua's mom does her best in raising them with love. As they grow older, the void in their lives where the presence of their fathers should be found is taking it's toll on them. They are both bad fathers on their own, don't know how to do what is expected of them and don't know how to be dads, since they had no one to learn from. This emotional movie will take you on a roller coaster as you see how an everyday problem develops right there, in front of you eyes and you can't do a thing about it, or help those boys becoming men. The impact of losing someone that important in your life is a serious thing and it will leave the marks until the rest of your life. This movie is slightly Christian oriented, so lots of problems are connected with praying for their solution and believing that everything will be ok and that everything happens for a reason, because God wanted it that way.
