After getting to know all the X-Men, here is one of the stories that can be told separately. Wolverine is one of the characters which both fits and don't fit into the whole picture. In the first part of the X-Men, he came along with Rogue/Marie to the school of Charles Xavier. But, what was he before that? This movie tells that part of his life. The plot begins with getting to know two mutant brothers, Logan and Victor (Hugh Jackman and Liev Schreiber), who were born before all the wars and chaoses. They suffered a great trauma through their childhood and they have lived from war to war, making money wherever they can get paid for fighting. After they both get recruited by colonel Stryker (Danny Huston), they become commandos. Then, Logan falls in love with a local school teacher, and decides to leave the army. But, with Stryker on his back, that seems like a mission impossible. As the story goes on the audience sees Logan getting submitted to a procedure that will later enable him to have adamantium covered bones as well as his highly recognizable spikes that come from his hands. After that procedure, unfortunately, he has no recollection of his past and is unable to remember anything that happened, as well as his girlfriend and the home he was in with her. And that is the moment when he meets professor X.
