From writer Adam Mazer and world famous director Barry Levinson comes a unique piece about a life of a strange man. It is an HBO movie, but that does not make it any less valuable or less quality. The story is placed in the 1990s and it follows the period in life of Dr. Jack Kevorkian (Al Pacino). He is an old man who doesn't have much to do. All he does all day long is watch cartoons like Bugs Bunny or Tweety. At one point, he gets the craziest idea ever. What he comes up with is to assist during the suicides of those who are terminally ill or are seriously sick and don't want to live any more. So, he starts developing his plan. As the public finds out about it, all hell breaks loose. They are more than eager to put him behind the bars as one of the worst criminals in history. And it seems like every one is against that idea, except a handful of people. But, he isn't all alone in this. His sister Margo (Brenda Vaccaro) is supportive, as well as his friend Neal (John Goodman). As he ends up in court for something he didn't do and didn't break any law, he gets the help of Janet Good (Susan Sarandon). All in all, this amazing biography drama will keep you more than engaged. You'll end up either liking or hating him.
