Bill Paxton is an American actor, producer, screen writer. Bill Paxton was born in Fort Worth, Texas. He is the son of a businessman and actor. Bill grew up in an orthodox Catholic family. He entered the State University of Texas in San Marcos. Bill moved to Los Angeles and landed a job with the film director Roger Corman, becoming a designer in his team. Bill Paxton thought about becoming an actor after work "on the other side of the court". He moved to New York where he took private lessons. So Bill began to search the work in cinematographic world. Thanks to his connections in the industry soon, Bill received his first role. One of his first films was "Crazy Mama" in 1975, directed by Jonathan Demme. Then followed a long break, after which in 1980 the actor starred in a music video. In 1984 Bill Paxton took part in the legendary film "The Terminator" director James Cameron, playing a mobster in the film. Then he participated in the movie “Commando" in 1986, where he also played a small role. Also he played in famous horror film of James Cameron's "Aliens" (1986), in which he appeared as Private Hudson. After that Bill brilliantly played a vampire in Kathryn Bigelow film "With the coming of darkness." In 2006, Bill became the star of the television series "Big Love," the fifth season which will air on American television in January 2011.
