Desmond Harrington or Des (how friends call him) was born in Savannah 1976. Desmond grew up in New York, Bronx area. For over 12 years Harrington was going to the Catholic Church. This states that he is a righteous man. The top of his academic career came in the last year of high school when he wrote the play that was selected for the production at the school theater event. After school, he studied for 6 weeks in college, but he suddenly realizes that he needs a little break from studying and leaves the college. From early childhood he was attracted to cinema, he spent all his days watching various movies over and over again until he learned all the words in a specific movie. He dreamed about becoming an actor, but in order to pay for his studies, he began working for a construction company. He worked as a designer at the company and at night as a bartender. Part of the earnings went to pay for acting classes at the studio of John Strasberg in Manhattan. Audience knows him because of the main role in the movie "My First Man". The film, which starred Desmond with Albert Brooks, participated in Sundance Film Festival in 2001 with the support of Paramount Classics.
