Sean Connery was born in august 1930 in Edinburgh, not in a very rich family. By birth he was named Thomas. Because of the material problems in the family he left the school when he was 13th and started working. He tried a variety of different professions: he was working with the furniture, lifeguard, stage worker and model... When he was 16th he went to the navy, but he didn’t liked there, as by character he was an independent person, but that job required discipline. Later when he started working in the theater, he started calling himself Shane (in honor of “Shane” by Alan Ladd). Later that pen name has been shortened to Sean. All of those movies have become classics. Sean has been married twice. First with the actress Diane Cilento, they were married from 1962 till 1974 and have a son Jason (he became an actor as well). His second wife became an artist Michelin Roquebrune, whom was French from Morocco. They are together since 1975 till current (they don’t have any mutual children). Michelin is elder than Sean with one year. He is a member of National Party of Scotland and he is for the independence of the country from England.
