Swoosie Kurtz was born in September 1944 in Omaha, which is situated in the state of Nebraska. She is the single child in the family- the daughter of a novels writer and of the air forces colonel, who was a pilot during the Second World War, and at the same time who was a hero who got a lot of awards. The actress got her unique name from her father. Soon she got a “triple crown” on the Broadway- which meant that she was honored with the three most significant theater awards. Swoosie was always working a lot that is why she never got married and doesn’t have children.
