Arnold Schwarzenegger trained with Swat team

Part of his preparation for the new movie Sabotage required Arnold Schwarzenegger to spend some time training with Los Angeles Swat team.

The actor plays a Drug Enforcement Agency officer in the film, so director David Ayer wanted him to perfect his weapons skills and get more familiar with police operations.

In an interview with Wenn, Schwarzenegger said: “He made us go down to see the L.A. Swat team, to hang out with them. He said, ‘I want you to think like them. I want you to look like them. I want you to train and to work like them’.

“From an acting point of view, it was the most challenging. I love that David pushed me because sometimes directors get

intimidated when they meet someone like me! He was very clear about the weapons training. I said, ‘Weapons training? I’ve shot more guns than anyone! In movie history I’ve killed more people than anyone’. He said, ‘I want you go to Swat and learn the ballet of this team'”.

But even though it was tough, Schwarzenegger appreciates the director’s strong focus on realism.

“It helps to have a director like David Ayer, who is a fanatic about realism… There’s a difference between the military and police forces and David wanted us to do it the right way, like the Swat teams would do it,” he explained.

All films portray violence as revenge for another act of violence, the plot is just a road to justify it, the tools used to facilitate this are the real items, as the films covertly use the plot to advertise the weapons that partners to the film producers make, Arnie and his friends are too thick too understand this or they would not be actors, but that is the only purpose too Hollywood, too sell arms and farm the public, more the fool that watches their output.
