After successful surprise release of her new album, Beyoncé answered fans’ questions via Instagram on Saturday (December 21).
She has revealed she had doubts and was very nervous before the release.
“I was terrified. I was so scared. I already envisioned like the worst things that could happen,” she said. “I was really nervous because this was a huge risk.”
The new album includes 14 songs and 17 videos, and the singer explained how personal it was for her.
She said: “I’m very private and I’m very respectful, and I think it just took me no longer being someone’s child, once I became a 
mother, I felt like I could tear those fourth walls and I just felt like it was time. I completely feel liberated.”
Beyoncé and her team made a lot of effort to keep things secret, but she is happy they pulled it off.
“We went through a lot of things to keep it secret, to keep the surprise,” said the singer. “I really, really wanted to surprise people, and for them really just to hear the art and not be about the hype and the promotion. And we actually did it,” she added.
Beyonce is out of doubt an amazing singer with a very strong and sexy voice. I am happy she feels her different being another and that her new album is the sincere story of her life, her inner world, her feelings and emotions. I like it as it is so sensual and so personal.
