Is FKA Twigs Robert Pattinson's new girlfriend?
In an interview with Britain’s Hello! magazine, Cate Blanchett talks about her marriage and kids. The actress is convinced that there’s no recipe for a good and lasting relationship and claims that it all comes down to luck.
The Blue Jasmine star has been married to theater director Andrew Upton for 16 years. They have three sons together – Dashiell, 12, Roman, 9, and Ignatius, 5.
Even though she shares the same industry with her husband, Cate doesn’t think it makes any difference to their marriage.
She said: ”I don’t think it’s more difficult for actors to have a good marriage than anyone. I think in the end a really important component of any relationship is honesty – and it also comes back to luck.”
The Australian actress is grateful she has such an ”amazing” husband. ”I’m incredibly fortunate to have met the intelligent, generous, risk-taking, stimulating man to whom I am married. He’s really amazing,” she said.
Cate says she lives in a happy household, and never takes work home because her children are ”not interested”.
She explained: ”I don’t take my work home – my children are not interested in me bringing home the characters I play. My boys are great kids, hilariously funny. We laugh a lot when we’re at home.”

Awe I just love Cate Blanchett, and her wonderful way of behaving, she is behaving like a real lady, I guess she is exactly the type of person whom, young girls should take example of. It is very obvious that she has a wonderful family, and is a happy woman; it is obvious due to her sparkling eyes that reveal her spiritual condition. I guess she is one of the few Hollywood actresses that are more concerned about their family life than about carrier. And it is a good thing, as this way she can feel herself as a real woman but at the same time as a business one. Life is all about family, so what you give to your kids, that is what you will get back by the times when you will get older. Family is the most important thing in the world, there is no amount of money in the world that would be able to buy a family. So anyone who realized this perfect issue will always stay happy and blessed.
I am the type of person who thinks that what you are doing is the mirror reflection of what you will get as a result. So Kate is making a great job by comprising the ability to be a good mother and at the same time a Hollywood actress. The fact that she is not bringing her work home in order to spend some quality time with her family has really amazed me, as there are a few people who would be able to do it, especially while having this kind of job.
