Charlie Hunnam drops out of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’

charlie Just weeks after being cast as the lead male, Charlie Hunnam has dropped out of Fifty Shades of Grey.

The actor was set to play Christian Grey in the big screen adaptation of E. L. James’ erotic best seller but has decided to turn down the role after all due to his busy schedule.

Universal Studios issued the statement, which says: ”The filmmakers of Fifty Shades of Grey and Charlie Hunnam have agreed to find another male lead given Hunnam’s immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey.”

He previously said: ”As soon as we got in the room and started reading with Dakota, I knew that I definitely wanted to do it, because there was a tangible chemistry between us. It felt kind of exciting and fun and weird and compelling, and so that was it.”

A source told E! News that, “they don’t have a handle on casting or production details.”

Shortly after the news broke, E. L. James tweeted: “I wish Charlie all the best.”

I tried to read them to see what all the fuss was about and managed to make it through barely the first one and since I had the second one (present), tried to read it to see if it had improved… but it is awful. I cannot finish it and do not know what to do with them because nobody admits to liking them that I know. They are just so horribly awful… I can’t believe that anyone would enjoy them.
