Colin Hanks watched ‘True Detective’ season finale in strangers’ house

Colin Hanks watched the season finale of True Detective in strangers’ living room.

The actor was in Calgary, Canada, filming Fargo, and his hotel didn’t have cable. As he was so eager to watch the final episode of True Detective, he posted a message on Twitter, asking if anyone would be willing to have him over and watch the show. One couple answered him.

He said: “I found a couple that seemed pretty cool and I texted them and I said, ‘Are you serious?’ They said, ‘Yes,’ I said, ‘Because, I’m really going to do this,’ and they said, ‘Yeah, come on over,’ and they gave me their address and I went over and I watched.”

Even though it was a nice experience, Colin says he won’t do something like that again.

“This is Russian roulette, I survived. This is the one time I did this and I’m never doing it again. But, they were super nice,” he explained.

Wow, Colin Hanks is indeed a crazy fan of “True Detective”. He indeed risked his safety and even life! He is a public figure and people all over the world know him. Hew as lucky the couple didn’t take advantage of him. I hope next time he thinks of what he does, not to put his life and well-being under such risks. I am happy to hear this story finished well and that the couple that invited him to their place was nice to Colin.
