A month after he was accused of cheating on Tori Spelling with a woman at a hotel in Toronto, Canada, Dean McDermott has checked into rehab.
The 47-year-old actor has confirmed the news himself. “I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I’ve caused my family,” he told People. “I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves.”
Despite claims that Dean has moved out of the home he shares with Tori and their four children, sources say that they still live together but that Tori has reportedly given him an ultimatum to seek help for love addiction or start packing.
“She’s told Dean she’ll leave him if he doesn’t get help for love addiction,” a source tells Life & Style magazine. “She’s finally laying down the law because she knows things can’t continue like this.”
“If it weren’t for the kids, she’d have left him already,” the source adds. ”She’s devastated.”
McDermott is receiving intense treatment but is allowed to leave the facility to visit his children at home in Los Angeles.
Bullshit, bullshit and once again bullshit! People just like lying to themselves. What a heck the rehab can do? Sex addiction? What does it really imply? Being unfaithful? Or also being a sexual tyrant at home? I do not personally like when the topics like that are opened to publicity, but still it has leaked to mass media, I what to say that Tori is a woman of gold that she tolerates this for her kids. If Den continues this way I am sure he loses her. He needs not the rehab but a great whip and then his brain maybe get back to normal if it ever was.
Poor Tori, I can only imagine how hard it is for her to go through her husband’s cheating on her; he betrayed not only her, but their love and their entire family. I remember the beginning of their relationship many, many years ago, Tory was the star of the “Beverly Hills 90210” originally from a very wealthy family who was against Dean, especially her mother, but she stood up for their relationship, she fight for the right to be with her beloved person, and really was doing everything she could for him, while he spilled on all those things due to the his desires. I feel like giving him a huge slap, for the way how he acted with Tori Spelling! And I admire Tori for the fact that she is still able to handle this entire situation with pride and calmness, I think if I would be on her place than I would certainly run all hysterical. I guess Dean should make her a monument for the fact how bravely she is handling everything, and especially for the fact that no matter how hard everything is for her she is not attacking him in the media, but simply goes through everything on her own.
Well, I guess Tori Spelling is a even stronger woman than I thought about her earlier, it is hard to forget the TV show “Beverly Hills 90210” where she was probably the main star, and of course newspapers of those times were all writing about her fights with mother, who didn’t want her to do this or that, and tried to control her life as much as she could because they were rich and wealthy, and that is exactly what money does to people (it gives them the perception that they can do everything they want and everyone should be subject to them, even their own kids). But right now, Tori has really amazed me, it is one thing to fight with mother, who doesn’t allow her to be with the man she loves, as this is a good and right reason, and it is a completely different thing to stand in front of “barking” at her mass media, without having some good reasons to stand for, and to look like everything is fine, and is nothing really bothering her.
I think Tori Spelling now feels crappy, ha ha, and honestly speaking I think it is good, as she is the one who steal Dean from the family he had, so now she gets the eventual payback. Everything in this world has a payback, so you can do as much bad things as you want, but in the end eventually you will have to suffer from the wrong things you did. I believe in God’s punishment, that is why I always try doing only good things. We all are sinning, that is why we are people but of course there is a limit, Tori has gown way much up from that limit, and as a result she is suffering, no words to comfort her, the only thing I can say is to listen to Timberlake’s song “What goes around comes back around” I think it will help her realize many things, or not.
