Just three weeks after giving birth to her second daughter Frankie, Drew Barrymore appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (airing May 19), to promote her new movie Blended.

“It feels like a miracle and it’s also so awesome I have to say,” she said about stepping out so soon after giving birth. “I feel like I actually have, first of all, I love this movie and I would never not like show up for it and I feel so good and happy. My kid is healthy. I have nothing to complain about. Like, I’m so blessed.”

The actress, who also has 19-month-old Olive, says that becoming a mother for the second time, despite being tiring, has made her life even better.

Asked how she feels after giving birth to her second child, Drew told E! News: ”Better, just on every level. It’s so much more work, but it is so much more calming in a way. ‘Frankie is sister,’ Olive says, and she is into her and it’s amazing, life is so good.

”Every night at 10pm when I get in bed, I’ve never been more excited to just lay down for a little while, and then you sleep for six hours if you’re lucky and you’re back up.”
