It is still unclear why Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield failed to show up at the Oscar Awards on Sunday.
The couple, who were supposed to be hosting the event, cancelled last minute due to ”personal reasons”. They haven’t offered any details on the cancellation yet, but their friends are worried it might be something serious.
A source told RadarOnline: ”It was disheartening to learn that Emma and Andrew cancelled on the Oscars and the Vanity Fair party literally last minute for a personal matter. If it were a fight or something between them one would have just came without the other, but this seemed to be more of something going on with one of their families.”
Emma and Andrew’s close friends fear that their decision to skip the ceremony might be due to Emma’s mother’s health condition. In 2008 Krista Stone started her battle with very aggressive type of breast cancer but managed to beat the disease.
”Everyone just hopes Emma’s mum didn’t detect another case of cancer or something,” the insider said. ”Emma and Andrew don’t have any other press obligations in the next two weeks, so hopefully whatever it is, they will have some time to themselves to deal with it.”

Such bright events are never missed even if there were some misunderstandings in the couple I am worried now for the couple and I hope that no matter what the personal reason is, everything will have a happy ending.
