According to Forbes, Adam Sandler is the most overpaid actor of 2013.
To compile the rankings, Forbes compared actors’ salaries from their last three films with movie earnings and studio budgets. Having in mind that Sandler is paid around $15 million per movie and how much the movies grossed, Forbes estimates that for every $1 Sandler made for his last three movies, the films themselves earned an average of $3.40.
Katherine Heigl and Reese Witherspoon come as second and third on the list. Closing the top five are Nicolas Cage and Kevin James. Denzel Washington, Steve Carrell, Jennifer Aniston, Matt Damon and Ryan Reynolds finish the list.
I love Adam Sandler! He is the most hilarious actors I know. I think he earns what he earns and really deserves it I wish I could make so much money, but, hey, I am not Hollywood actor. I just wonder why such professions that save people’s life are so underestimated and why soccer players get so much money for kicking the football on the field???
