Gwyneth Paltrow secures restraining order against alleged stalker

Gwyneth-Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow has obtained a restraining order against an alleged stalker who has reportedly tried to gain access to both her Los Angeles and London homes.

A restraining order requiring Nickolaos Gavrilis to stay at least 100 yards away from Paltrow, Chris Martin and their two children was granted on Friday.

According to legal documents obtained by E! News, Gavrilis most recently attempted to enter Paltrow’s home in Los Angeles on April 4 and her security director Tony Abbott stated that the stalker also made his way into her London house in 2012 “by falsely claiming that he had a business appointment ” with the actress. He tried again to get into the house in April 2013 but was denied access, Abbott claims. He also added that, in his expert opinion, Gavrilis was a “potential threat.”

A hearing on whether to make the restraining order permanent will be held in Los Angeles on May 12 at 8:30 a.m.

Women are granted restraining orders all the time, because they are in danger. Let’s not glorify this one because she is a celebrity. This is disgusting that Paltrow is profiting off of this news.

She is pathetic. Can’t be an American stalking her because we don’t give a hoot-must be a British person. Gwyneth Paltrow, please stay in London.

Who in their right mind would stalk her?
