Gwyneth Paltrow reportedly spent $100,000 shopping for Christmas presents.
The actress splashed out on items from Jay Z’s collection for Barneys. She is a huge fan of the rapper’s collection which includes $5,000 cashmere blankets, $4,000 leather bags and $1,000 T-shirts.
A source told the Star magazine: ”Gwyneth loves Jay Z and she loves his taste. She’s giving lots of people on her holiday list something from the collection.”
The interesting thing about Jay Z’s line is that the proceeds go to the rapper’s Shawn Carter Foundation charity that aims to provide help for the poorest communities in New York. And for Gwyneth this is a great opportunity to support a good cause and get the stuff she really likes.
”The proceeds are going to charity, so this is a win-win for Gwyneth, she gets to support a good friend and a good cause, and – of course – to give wonderful gifts,” the source added.
Well, Gwyneth gets what she loves! She can afford it so why not? Besides, the proceeds come to the charity and this is indeed a double win. Gwyneth supports her friend, buys things that she likes, gladdens her friends and family members with nice Christmas gifts and does the charity. Attention, she does this at the same time! I believe even better than Napoleon. I agree with Gwyneth Jay Z has a perfect taste and style.
