Rumor has it that actress Jennifer Carpenter is in a romantic relationship with folk singer Seth Avett. The musician publicly announced splitting from his wife on Tuesday (June 11) and previously there were some reports saying that Jennifer is the one to blame for ruining Avett’s marriage.

His soon-to-be ex-wife Susan said: “It saddens me to hear of such unfounded speculation surrounding the end of our marriage, which is in and of itself a difficult time for both of us. I ask that for our sake, and the sake of our family and friends, that everyone respect our privacy during this time.”

Sources reveal that Seth and Jennifer met at a concert a few years ago and have been good friends ever since. However, the two of them started a romance recently, according to reports. A source says: “She loves music and has always been a big supporter of the band. The relationship developed over the past few months… They have a lot in common and seem to have a similar sense of humor. There is an ease about their relationship. Friends and family couldn’t be happier for them. They are a good match.”
