Jessica Alba threw a baby shower for over 30 members of U.S. Navy families on Tuesday.
Her organization The Honest Company has also given a month’s supply of diapers and wipes to everyone attending the party.
“Growing up in a military family and having many family members in the service, I saw first-hand how tough deployment is on families and the time apart is never easy for either party involved,” Alba said.
“I am so thrilled to join Operation Shower to reward these brave men and women as a small token of The Honest Company’s appreciation for their service and their sacrifices to help protect our country.”
i think it is very nice of Jessica Alba to throw that baby shower for the army people, as they really do everyhing thy can in order to protect our country, and to my greatest sadness in the majority of cases they do it without thinking of their families, all they are capable to think of is how to serve and protect their country, as by protecting their country they are protecting their families, what can be possibly better than that?! For me the family always was, is and will be on the top of my priorities, so i do understand what they feel while saying no to some things that are important for them in order to serve their purpose.
I am super happy to read this article as finally i get to see the star who has everything she wants in her life, but at the same time she does everything she can in order to help some other families that need help. I can only imagine hoe difficult it really is for those families to go through the fact that they are not seeing each other for a very long time, and when they finally do, ig is not for a long time, as well as they never know for how long their meeting will be, and whether it will be some other meeting?! I am so proud to be born in te country i was born and when i read about this brave soldiers, i realize that i would love to serve my country as well, although i am a girl, some things just worth fighting for!
I always knew that Jessica Alba has a great heart and she has proven it to me one more time by the things she is doing, the best thing about her, is that she does it not because she is required to, but because she wishes to do it from all her heart. I noticed that she has a great and generous personality a long time ago when i saw a show in which she stood for the rights of the Latin women in America. I guess it is very nice of her not to forget about her roots even after she became a very famous actress and in fact a superstar, i really admire her for the person she is, and hopefully the example that she set will be followed by some other famous actors and actresses, or other famous people.
