Joan Rivers attacks Lena Dunham over weight issues

Speaking to Howard Stern on his radio show, Joan Rivers has slammed Lena Dunham over her weight and fashion sense.

Girls creator and star is constantly on Rivers’ red carpet worst dressed lists and this time the 80-year-old comedian has also criticized Lena for sending wrong message to young girls about weight issues.

“Lena Dunham, who I think is again terrific, how can she wear dresses above the knee?” Rivers asked.

“I think the thing we love about her is she doesn’t give a sh*t … She did a whole episode in a bikini. It was the funniest f**king thing I’ve ever seen,” Stern replied.

“But that’s wrong,” Rivers argued. “You’re sending a message out to people saying it’s okay, stay fat, get diabetes, everybody die. Lose your fingers.”

Joan said she would offer to dress Lena if she saw her at a party, though she admitted that the actress would probably turn her down.

She went on, “I love that she’s funny and love that she’s done well. But don’t let them laugh at you physically. If you look the way you look, Lena, and that’s fine and you’re funny, don’t say it’s Ok that other girls can look like this. Try to look better.”

Meanwhile, Joan is the poster girl for unnecessary plastic surgery as it has left her looking like something I left in the commode. Worse still, her brand of stupidity has stunk like something I left in the commode back in the eighties.

Joan, I usually love you, but I don’t agree with you on this one. Lena seems to have a good self concept of and high esteem for herself, and that is great. And she is hardly obese, so stop with the
