Demi Lovato feels body confident thanks to Kim Kardashian
Jodie Foster married her girlfriend of a year, photographer Alexandra Hedison, over the weekend.
The Oscar-winning actress wanted to keep the ceremony low-key and private, so there’s no information on the location and the exact date of the wedding. However, the news was confirmed by Foster’s rep.
Jodie and Alexandra began dating last summer, according to E! Online. Hedison was dating Ellen DeGeneres in the early 2000s and they split in 2004.
After years of speculation about her sexuality, Foster finally made a sort-of public coming out during her famous acceptance speech at the 2013 Golden Globes.
She said: “I guess I have a sudden urge to say something that I’ve never been able to air in public that I’m a little nervous about. I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago back in the Stone Age, in those very quaint days when a fragile young girl would open up to trusted friends and family and co-workers and then gradually, proudly to everyone who knew her, to everyone she actually met.
“But now I’m told, apparently, that every celebrity is expected to honor the details of their private life with a press conference, a fragrance and a prime-time reality show….No, I’m sorry, that’s just not me. It never was and it never will be.”
