After leaving the medical drama Grey’s Anatomy in 2010, Katherine Heigl is making plans for her small screen comeback with a new political spy drama about CIA. The actress is producing the drama and will play an adviser to the president and Alexi Hawley is writing the script.

Katherine played Dr. Izzie Stevens for 5 years in Grey’s Anatomy but then she quit the drama series so she could establish herself as a film actress. She starred in several movies but in 2012 she wanted to return to Grey’s Anatomy. However, creator Shonda Rhimes has failed to respond to her request.
